Mercedes Benz “Factory of the Future” - Stuttgart, Germany

On the roof of a new factory of Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart, Engcotec built up a 435 kW photovoltaic generator which covers a part of the large energy consumption needs at the factory. It works without noise and saves 335 tons of CO2 emission every year. This was the first industrial project of this type in the world with its 435 kW photovoltaic generator able to produce 350 million Wh per year. The volume of the project comprises Euro 4 million.
