Engcotec PV Schooling System SUN School and SOLARSOFT –
for future-oriented technical training

Engcotec has developed a comprehensive solar energy school and college training system with three different levels: BASIC, ADVANCED and PROFESSIONAL

The Teaching System consists of:
  - 

 

 a laboratory set containing various kinds of cells, the different components used in solar systems, as well as different types of connections for DC/DC and DC/AC with an island system or grid connection.

a textbook which covers the basic photovoltaic theory, introduces the components used in solar systems, explains how the software is used, and also contains a number of worked examples for different energy requirements.

an exercise book which contains a description of a number of experiments, along with results. Exercises as well as their solutions and the necessary data sheets also make up an important part of this book.

Software which is able to simulate the functioning of different kinds of components used in PV systems.

 
The software was so successful that it was patented and then extracted and marketed as a separate interactive product under the name of SOLARSOFT-simulation software for photovoltaic technology.
